How it works
Three steps. That's it.
Navigate to a blocked site
Try to access Twitter, Reddit, or any site you've added to your block list.
Review a card
A flashcard appears as an overlay. Study the content, reveal the answer, and rate how well you knew it. The spaced repetition algorithm adjusts the next review time based on your rating.
Continue where you left off
The site unlocks for your customizable cooldown period. Page state is preserved - no reload, no lost context. Track your daily progress and maintain your learning streak.
Common questions
Can I study without visiting blocked sites?
Yes! Open the extension popup and click "Study Due Cards" to review all cards in one focused session. When you're done, all blocked sites become accessible again.
How do I add new cards?
Three ways: (1) Click "Add Card" in the extension popup. (2) Select text on any page, right-click, and choose "Add selection as card". (3) Import Anki decks in plain text format (.txt).
What sites should I block?
Block time-wasters and sites you feel guilty about - social media, YouTube, Reddit. Don't block work tools like email, Slack, or search engines. The goal is productive friction, not frustration.
Does it support fill-in-the-blank cards?
Yes! They're called Cloze Deletion cards. Use the syntax {{c1::hidden text}} in your card content. Perfect for memorizing facts, formulas, or vocabulary.
How do I edit or remove a blocked domain?
Important: You can only edit domains when they're unblocked. Visit the site, answer a card to unlock it, then open the extension popup → Domains tab to make changes. This prevents accidental modifications.
